I have always had this vision of the thermal baths in Machu Picchu and how great they would be. Someone failed to mention that there are serious amounts of harsh-smelling minerals in these particular waters. The best way to describe the smell is - dog poop. The water made me, my clothes, my hair - everything - smell like dog poop. I'm not sure which mineral that was, but I did not like it.
Nevertheless, the girls LOVED it and I was so glad to be able to take them.
