andahuaylillas

Andahuaylillas is a small town outside of Cusco.  It has some gorgeous trees, a cool museum and a neat little church which I was too broke to actually pay to enter.

Nevertheless, it is a simple and gorgeous town that I think I will go see again sometime while I am here!

Big beautiful tree below which street vendors sell cool artisan crafts.

The church roof was pretty cool.

Old paintings fading in the weather.

Apparently, in the skulls of the Incans there is an extra bone in the skull.  It is triangularly shaped and the Incans are the only peoples that have this bone.  I am not sure if I believe it, but here it is.

Love the mountains in the background.

Another scary mannequin in the museum.
