El Paro. That means strike. If you have been to Buenos Aires, you know all about them. In fact, any Latin American city. There was one every other day in Quito back in 2005.
Anyway, there was one the other day that sort of lasted all week. I can't tell how effective they are, but it does mean we get the day off because the kids can't go to school. It was dark and hard to get photos, but I tried.
