sacsayhuaman

Alex and I took our students from Luis Vallejo Santoni on a cultural field trip to some nearby ruins in Cusco.  They live 15 minutes away from these incredibly cool, ridiculously historic ruins and many of them had never been before... so we were stoked to show them the sights!

Cristo Blanco now watches over Sacsayhuaman
... and no, the big white light-up Jesus was not something the Incan's built.

Marleny and Marie Carmen
These rock formations have become so smooth over the years, that they are like big rock slides.
SO FUN.

The view of Cusco.

The girls pointed this adorable alpaca and I got out my camera to take a photo. It then proceeded to spread it's legs and do it's business.  We laughed about it the whole way home.
