Km0

One of my favorite bars here in San Blas is called Kmo (pronounced "kilometro zero").  I love the ambience (lots of candles) and there is always live music.  Some friends of ours just started a band and played at Km0 the other night.  They are now weekly performers and they are improving every time.  Here are some shots of the bar and my buddies jamming.

"Empieza lo Bueno!" ("Start it right!") is Km0's tagline.

Javier and Mauricio (both from Bogota) have been best friends for a long time.

Mauricio followed Javier here because Javier told him, "In Cusco, you can play music FOR MONEY!"  That sold him.
